Poland is the seat of many prominent and respected video game studios, responsible for globally appreciated titles. G2A founder/CMO, Dawid Rożek said: “Poland is my birth country with so many creative and smart people. The Gaming sector here is one of the best in the world and has produced games like: Dead Island, Two Worlds and Witcher 3.”
In Poland there are currently more than 150 game developers who produce over 150 games a year. The value of this sector is estimated to be over $450 million. This is due to the fact that the number of Polish gamers has grown to over 11 million and G2A supports these gamers with an amazing variety of over 30,000 gaming products – the largest selection in the world in one place.
The 2015 edition of Digital Dragons brought together over 800 participants, including 450 developers from 25 countries worldwide. In the Indie Showcase zone, a space for independent game designers, more than 40 projects were promoted.
G2A serves 10 million customers and welcomes 250,000 new customers every month. Furthermore, G2A has developed G2A Pay, a payment-method ecosystem which combines over 100 worldwide payment methods with the option of 100% guarantees using G2A Shield. G2A.COM also offers award-winning 24/7 support with native speakers. The company has invested significant sums over the last two years in the research and development of new, cutting-edge technologies. One of these is an award-winning virtual reality (VR) project called G2A Land, with investment of over one million Euros.
G2A.COM will present their VR games for Oculus during Digital Dragons: “VR adds a new dimension to the gaming world that we know. We will be able to experience titles in a deeper way, and it definitely allows developers to use new tools to absorb gamers in the game world,” says Marcin Kryszpin, Head of Oculus Team at G2A.COM.
G2A invites all gamers to visit Stand 23 in the Main Hall at Digital Dragons 2016 and experience virtual reality for themselves.
