The Global eCommerce Awards, a UK organisation based in London, has recognised G2A.COM as worthy of accolades in not just one, but two categories by the judges originating from such industry giants as Microsoft, Nestle or Samsung.
The win is recognition of how G2A.COM has had a dedicated focus on improving and innovating since January 2020. Through this turbulent period, that focus has paid off with the marketplace experiencing a considerable increase in traffic – rewarding the technical changes and investment in user experience the site has undergone.
The judges who decided the award for G2A.COM were impressed by the strong website traffic and performance indicators as well as the clear focus on the audience and ecosystem from the company. In summing up, the awards team note “the judges all thought what they did was terrific.”
In addition to the outright win of this primary category, G2A.COM was also named as the Silver Award winner in the Global B2C eCommerce Website of the year with the judges again recognising and praising the fact that the marketplace’s “whole ecosystem was built to immerse consumers.”
