Bartosz Skwarczek, CEO and co-founder of G2A, has been recognized for this leadership with the BrandMe CEO award. Now for the third year, the award ceremony is held by FORBES in partnership with PwC, celebrating the values and qualities of the top business leaders. This year’s key theme was ‘Leaders in times of (forced) transformation’, where Bartosz’s people-driven style set him apart and made him the award winner.
As a major company in the gaming industry, G2A’s mission is dedicated to empowering a whole generation of gamers and geeks. Only with strong and authentic leadership to create a company that this audience can trust in, and follow, can this mantra become a reality. Everybody at G2A is proud that Bartosz has been recognised for the work he is doing to drive the company forward on its mission.
By winning awards of this prestige, G2A hopes to champion the gaming sector and shine a light on the role videogames have played during this year’s pandemic. During this period, millions of people have turned to gaming to relax, learn and socialise, strengthening a community that helped people to stay strong, together.
Bartosz said: “I’m honoured and humbled to have been recognised with this prestigious award, especially given the calibre of leaders that I was nominated alongside. This year has put communities around the world under a huge test, and I’d like to thank all my fellow G2’Anians, as we call ourselves, for their heroic efforts during this crisis.”
“I have always considered authenticity an essential personal quality and this is something that runs through our culture here at G2A. We are a company made up of dedicated gamers and geeks who are working on their passion, which makes it an efficient and rewarding culture to manage. This award reflects this, and we look forward to championing the brilliance of the gamer community in the next steps of our journey.”
