The Digital Poland Foundation has recognized G2A’s CEO and co-founder, Bartosz Skwarczek, for the company’s achievements in the field of new technologies. His name is featured on Digital Shapers 2018, a prestigious list of digital transformation leaders in Poland.
G2A is best known for its world-leading global marketplace for digital products. The company does not limit itself to its core business, video games and software, though. G2A’s bold investments in fintech, as well as advanced AI solutions, have not gone unnoticed by the Digital Poland Foundation which awarded the company’s CEO, Bartosz Skwarczek, with the title of Digital Shaper in the innovations and technologies category.
The winners of Digital Shapers 2018 were announced on November 13th, 2018. The awards gala, hosted by Business Insider Poland’s editor-in-chief, Łukasz Grass, concluded the first day of the Masters & Robots conference, held November 13th-15th, 2018, in Warsaw.
“I’m very glad that the foundation has recognized our achievements in digital technology,” said Bartosz Skwarczek. “You can say that digital revolution runs in G2A’s blood. This award only proves that we’re heading in the right direction,” he added.
Digital Shapers constitute the greatest contributors to the development of Poland’s digital industry. Through their example, the Digital Poland Foundation seeks to inspire a new generation of digital transformation leaders. The final list was prepared by an independent jury of 120 experienced new technology experts. The high quality of each submission was ensured by world-renowned companies such as Baker McKenzie, one of the world’s largest law firms, Korn Ferry and Russell Reynolds Associates.
The Digital Poland Foundation’s mission is to make Poland into one of the world’s most important digital innovation centers. The project has received support from various well-known companies and brands, such as VISA, IBM, T-Mobile and UPC. Its media patrons are Forbes and Business Insider.
